We are seeking an experienced and qualified Aquatic Operations Officer to join our team at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the aquatic component of the centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the aquatic centre, including pool maintenance, water quality, and customer service.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of aquatic operations staff, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered to all customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and integrated service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including workplace health and safety.
- WA Pool Operations Competency Certificate or equivalent.
- Leisure Institute of WA Aquatics Accreditation and Current Membership.
- Minimum of three years previous experience in a similar position.
- Current Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Award.
- Provide First Aid Certificate.
- National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).
- Current Working with Children Clearance.
- Knowledge of all legislation and regulations for the operation of an Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Western Australia.
- Previous experience in the supervision and development of staff.
- Previous experience of Recreation Industry particularly with current trends, programs and initiatives relevant to operating Aquatic Recreation Centre.
- A competitive salary package, including a base salary of $75,419 to $81,093 gross per annum, plus 10% loading for applicable early/late shifts.
