Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and develop skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the swim school team in teaching swimming and water safety skills to children, as well as providing administrative and customer service support. This is a temporary full-time or part-time position, with a 12-24 month term.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in teaching swimming and water safety skills to children
  • Provide administrative support to the swim school team
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Completed Year 10 or equivalent
  • Competent swimmer with ability to pass Bronze Medallion level
  • Reasonable level of fitness
  • Current C class national driver's licence or progress towards
  • Confident and professional communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and work with a diverse range of people
  • Excellent presentation and time management skills
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently
