Proposal Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Manager to join our organization. As a key member of our Commercial Operations group, you will be responsible for managing small to large proposals and bids in accordance with our proposal management procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a dynamic workload of simultaneous proposals including assessing and communicating customer requirements for inclusion in solution and implementation planning.
  • Create/coordinate customer proposal documents such as Statement of Work, Bill of Materials, Implementation Plan, Delivery Schedule, Risk Register.
  • Develop and use standardized documents such as templates and agreements, to the extent possible.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with sales teams, solutions managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Regular progress reports and ability to escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to determine pricing strategy and work with pricing teams to prepare customer price schedules.
  • Ensure proper documentation and sign-off from appropriate internal approvers, complying with relevant internal approval guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications required, preferably in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • Successful applicants must pass a police security clearance.
  • At least 2-3 years experience in roles involving strategy, planning, project coordination, proposal development, or related fields.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, great written and oral communication skills, good ICT skills, and ability to deliver to fixed deadlines.
