About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Recoveries & Financial Assistance Specialist with expertise in Commercial/SME/Agri-business to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals.

As a Specialist, you will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, handling litigation actions, and assessing and recommending solutions for hardship cases.

You will play a key role in farm debt mediation, working closely with customers to return non-performing loans to a performing status or guide them through the debt recovery process.

Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as supporting the broader Recoveries team in achieving departmental goals.

About You

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing delinquent accounts and negotiating payment arrangements
  • Handling litigation actions and assessing hardship cases
  • Providing expert advice on Commercial/SME/Agri-business debt recovery
  • Collaborating with customers to return non-performing loans to a performing status
