Firesoft People is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our Sydney-based team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading FinTech platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyse user stories and requirements for validity and feasibility, collaborating closely with other team members and departments.
- Execute all levels of testing, including system, integration, and regression testing.
- Design and develop automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Apply engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Develop and execute maintainable test cases and regression test suites from analysis of user stories and process maps.
- Provide advice on aspects of test planning, design, and execution.
- Liaise with the delivery engineering team to correctly interpret testing requirements and provide advice and communicate testing outcomes.
- Manage and monitor the progress of allocated testing tasks and deliverables, advising on and escalating issues as necessary.
About You
- Fluent or native Mandarin speaker.
- 1+ years of experience in Forex trading industry with a good understanding of trading basics and MT4/MT5.
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Software Engineer.
- Experience in testing APIs, Micro services, Web services, and Web pages.
- Excellent analytical skills, with demonstrable experience driving issues to resolution.
- Experience working closely with developers, product and delivery managers, and other stakeholders.
- A desire to be involved in all aspects of product development from inception through planning, design, implementation, and delivery.
- The ability to engage with software engineers to embed quality in all stages of development.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills - asking good questions, challenging assumptions, and challenging existing ideas and viewpoints.
- Test automation with knowledge in Java, Python.
- Proficiency in Selenium Framework, JMeter, etc.
- Experience in Agile environment and comfortable with fast-paced delivery process.
