Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at Accor Apartments & Realty. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading a cohesive team, ensuring smooth food and beverage operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by Example: Set the pace and lead by example during busy service periods, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to achieve exceptional results, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, turning every moment into a memorable experience for our guests.
  • Upselling and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through upselling and suggestive selling, while maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges, transforming obstacles into opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest food and beverage trends, products, and services, using this knowledge to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

  • Food and Beverage Expertise: Proficiency in food and beverage protocols, including table and event service, beverage expertise, and coffee crafting skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility across different schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Qualifications and Certifications: Possession of a valid RSA or equivalent qualification for the specific country/state/territory.
  • Passion for Hospitality: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
