The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our food and beverage operations at one of our properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and an unforgettable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative menus and beverage programs that showcase our property's unique character and appeal to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
- Lead a team of experienced hospitality professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and an unforgettable experience.
- Manage all operational aspects of the food and beverage department, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with our Executive Chef to create innovative menus and beverage programs that showcase our property's unique character and appeal to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and increase exposure for our food and beverage operations.
- Ensure that all food and beverage operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager who possesses a strong passion for delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in a similar hospitality environment.Strong operational experience in conferencing, weddings, and events.Demonstrated ability to work within allocated budgets, manage stock control, and roster staff effectively.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work a flexible roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide exceptional service to our guests, even in challenging situations.Why Join Us
