Job Title: Cafe Team Leader

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Reporting to the food and beverage manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the corner cafe. Your primary role will be supervising staff and ensuring they meet high standards at all times.

The Role:

  • Lead the team and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop team members to deliver customer service excellence.
  • Manage the team and delegate tasks during peak trade periods.
  • Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction.
  • Resolve member and guest complaints.
  • Supervise assigned staff including training, coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide up-to-date information to members and guests on all services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have RSA and RCG qualifications or be willing to obtain.
  • Commitment to a 24-hour rotating roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Rights to work in Australia.
