Leadership Opportunity at a New Cafe

We are seeking an experienced cafe manager to lead our new location at Sydney Domestic Airport. As part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafe, including managing kitchen and FOH teams, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas, cooks, and other staff members to achieve exceptional results
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability and meet budget targets
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or as a senior member of a cafe team
  • Proven track record of leadership, coaching, and mentoring staff to achieve outstanding results
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and First Aid Certificate
