Job Title: Human Resources Advisor

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company that values its employees and provides a supportive and inclusive work environment.

About the Role:
  • This role will involve providing consistent and compliant HR advice to line managers across operational areas, building strong relationships with operational leaders to support project delivery, managing accurate information on the HRIS and providing reports and data analysis across a range of HR metrics, partnering with managers to provide advice on employment relations matters, supporting organisational design and workforce planning activities, and working with recruitment teams to onboard personnel in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide HR Advice: Consistent and compliant HR advice to line managers across operational areas, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
  2. Build Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with operational leaders to support successful project delivery, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  3. HRIS Management: Accurately manage information on the HRIS, providing reports and data analysis to inform business decisions.
  4. Employment Relations: Partner with managers to provide advice on all employment relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Organisational Design: Support organisational design and workforce planning activities, working closely with recruitment teams to onboard required personnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in a HR Advisor role within the construction, engineering or mining sector (or similar industry).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to sensitively, confidentially and fairly manage people issues.
