This role is about creating a vibrant, inclusive residential community where students can truly feel at home.
As a Resident Experience Coordinator, you will play a central role in delivering an exceptional student living experience. You'll design and execute engaging programs that foster wellbeing, community, and connection, while ensuring high-quality service standards across every initiative.
- Design & Deliver: Create and lead inclusive, high-quality social, wellness, and educational events that reflect resident interests and build community.
- Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day oversight of casual team members, including rostering, training, supervising, and tracking performance.
- Community Care: Support resident wellbeing through proactive engagement, incident follow-up, and partnerships with local/university support services.
- Vendor Engagement: Build relationships with vendors, contractors, and local businesses to enhance resident life and deliver value-added initiatives.
- Operations & Compliance: Manage event budgets, ensure compliance with policies and WHS standards, and capture reporting on attendance, satisfaction, and outcomes.
- Marketing & Outreach: Collaborate with internal teams to promote events across digital and onsite channels, ensuring alignment with marketing and leasing objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience in event management, hospitality, or student/community engagement.
- Previous experience in leading or supervising casual/part-time teams.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working flexibly, including some evenings or weekends for event delivery.
- Eligible for a National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
