About the Lifestyle Officer Role

This position is responsible for creating engaging social, recreational, cultural, and wellbeing programs to enhance the quality of life for residents in a shared accommodation setting.

As a Lifestyle Officer, you will tailor experiences to reflect each person's unique interests and values, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and empowered.

You will be supported by our team to deliver exceptional care and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement meaningful activity programs that cater to diverse needs and interests
  • Collaborate with the lifestyle coordinator and care team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to promote independence and autonomy
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related qualification (or willingness to attain)
  • Relevant aged care experience in a similar role
  • Ability to build strong relationships with older people
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to take part in ongoing education
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current driver's license
