About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN). As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • At least 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to be creative, innovative, and flexible when approaching issues within the healthcare setting.
