About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse/Midwife to join our Neonatal Services team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proficient and compassionate nursing/midwifery care to patients and their families.
  • Monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes and make adjustments as needed.
  • Participate in clinical teaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills of students, new staff, and staff with less experience.
  • Contribute to clinical auditing, research, and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of neonatal care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate patient care services.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife, with a strong background in neonatal care.
  • Meet the criteria outlined in the Key Result Area and responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse/Midwife role description.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in relevant areas of nursing and midwifery practice, in accordance with professional standards.
  • Ability to work creatively, innovatively, and flexibly in a fast-paced clinical environment.
