About the Role:
Civmec is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team based at our Tomago Facility in NSW. As a key member of our commercial team, you will provide technical and functional leadership, expertise, advice, and support to management and project teams in negotiating, establishing, and administering contracts and business agreements with internal and external clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial and contract administration support to project management to achieve business outcomes.
- Provide strategic direction and commercial guidance and support for the identification and mitigation of risks and the resolution of contract management, contractual, and commercial issues.
- Provide commercial direction, coaching, guidance, and support to project leads, contracts, and commercial teams in the resolution of contract variations, claims, and potential disputes.
- Client engagement and relationship development to protect the company's interests.
- Drive and lead a culture of safety, environmental, and health leadership.
About You:
- Tertiary degree in business or commercial management (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce).
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience with P6.
- Previous experience within the construction industry is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adequate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- High attention to detail.
