This role offers a unique chance to work as an HR Workforce Specialist in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and staff on various workforce policies, awards, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that foster a positive and respectful workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with district teams to facilitate seamless recruitment and selection activities.
  • Implement approved change management programs, restructures, and reviews.
  • Deliver information sessions on various programs, policies, and systems.
  • Support the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives within the client group.
  • Act as a champion and advocate for different workforce systems, responding to queries, resolving issues, and generating reports.
  • Develop communications, processes, and systems to implement workforce programs and policies.
  • Investigate and manage grievances, misconduct, and disciplinary matters.
  • Provide facilitation and conflict resolution services to support early and effective resolution of workplace concerns.
  • Collaborate with Work Health and Safety, Workers Compensation, and Rehabilitation teams to support efficient management of work-related injuries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant registration requirements.
  • Support accreditation activities, quality improvement initiatives, and delivery of facility KPIs such as Aboriginal Employment.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, human resources, or related fields, or equivalent experience delivering operational HR services.
  • Experience developing and communicating documents and processes to implement workforce policies and projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and staff.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, plan, prioritize, and deliver results in a busy service delivery context.
