Job Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team at our salvage vehicle and heavy motor site in Melbourne.

  • Lead a team of asset inspectors and forklift operators, providing strong leadership through effective organisation skills and performance expectations.
  • Manage and uphold WHS standards as per policies.
  • Oversee stock location, audits, asset movements/loading and workflow, ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitor and maintain high Booking In KPI's according to sales channel requirements.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. You will report to the Site Operations Manager and have opportunities for training, development and national progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop into a salvage asset expert over time.
  • Participate actively in daily processes, prioritising site tasks.
  • Work effectively in fast-paced environments with adaptability and flexibility.
  • Be willing to work safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
  • Engage and motivate a team with strong people management skills.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office skills and ability to learn auction system.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WH&S regulations.
  • Valid manual Driver's licence.
  • Operating or working experience with heavy vehicles or civil equipment an advantage.
