
Operations Team Leader

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of asset inspectors and forklift operators in a dynamic operations environment. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient management of stock location, stock audits, asset movements/loading and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve targets.
- Provide strong leadership through organisation skills, managing priorities, setting clear direction, role clarity and performance expectations for your team.
- Ensure WHS standards are upheld and managed as per WHS policies.
- Monitor, manage and assist with stock location, stock audits, asset movements/loading and workflow.
- Ensure all Booking In KPI's are met in line with asset sales channel and vendors requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Sound experience in operations supervision and/or management, ideally with experience in the heavy equipment, manufacturing or distribution sector.
- Lead from the front, actively involved in daily processes, setting site priorities and developing into a salvage asset expert over time.
- Self-motivated with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible in fast-paced environments.
- Experience or acceptance towards working in all weather conditions safely and effectively.
- Ability to engage and motivate a team with strong people management skills.
- Competent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of MS Office skills and ability to learn our user-friendly auction system.
- Demonstrated understanding of WH&S regulations.
- Current/valid manual Driver's licence.
- Experience operating or working with heavy vehicle or civil equipment an advantage.
