About the role:
As the Asset Leader for Battery Storage, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between AGL and the battery Operations and Maintenance contractors, including contract management, asset performance management and stakeholder management. You will also play a key part in operational readiness for new battery storage assets. Specific responsibilities include:

- Work in partnership with AGL's key contractors to ensure that wind and battery storage assets are maintained and operated in alignment with our strategic goals
- Manage the delivery of maintenance through maintenance services agreements with key contractors
- Ensure that assets are management within fixed Opex and Capex budgets
- Develop and track KPI's to ensure optimal performance of maintenance services by the contractors
- Work with construction and project management teams to ensure operational readiness for AGL's new battery assets
- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment systems and goals are communicated and adhered to
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, market operators and network service providers

About You:
You will be a highly analytical thinker and strong problem solver that enjoys a challenge. Your communication and influencing skills will complement your stakeholder engagement skills, where you focus on mutually beneficial outcomes.

What you bring to the table:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering. Electrical Engineering is an advantage but not essential
- An understanding of Asset Management and Quality Management principles
- Project, contract and financial management experience
- An understanding and commitment to HSE requirements
- An understanding of large scale renewable technologies or experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and disciplines
