Our team is looking for a skilled Commis Chef to join our kitchen brigade.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate culinary professional to work at the airport, specifically at the Qantas Lounges Brisbane. As a Commis Chef, you will be part of a vibrant group of experienced chefs and play a crucial role in crafting culinary excellence.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a busy kitchen and exposure to à la carte dining experiences. They will be able to prepare dishes with precision, maintain high standards of presentation, and ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.

Key responsibilities include food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner buffet service, front-of-house bakery experience, and à la carte dining services. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, ensuring that all equipment is maintained and serviced regularly.

We are offering a permanent part-time position with flexible rosters that can include morning shifts from 3:30 am to 11:30 am and evening shifts from 11:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
