Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
About the Role:
This is a commercial role responsible for the retention and growth of the largest regional account in the APAC region. The Account Manager will play a key role in managing customer renewals and providing ongoing support, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and business continuity.
- Serve as the main commercial contact for the largest regional account in APAC, working within a team of four.
- Lead account retention and growth strategies, promoting products to increase bookings and revenue.
- Manage long-term customer relationships, including contract renegotiations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships within the customer organization to support strategic growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively address competitive threats.
- Align customer needs with products and services to drive business expansion.
- Maintain accurate account plans, CRM pipeline, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate internal stakeholder engagement to support customer requirements and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and customer management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of B2B experience in the travel industry, with a degree or equivalent.
- Strong commercial and contract/customer management skills.
- Proven ability in account management and building client relationships.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and customer-focused.
- Skilled in pipeline management, reporting, and sales tools.
- Strong understanding of the business model and financial acumen.
- Capable of analyzing complex situations and applying sound judgment.
