About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Firearms and Tactical Skills Trainer. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in firearms and tactical skills to instructors and correctional officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs in firearms and tactical skills, ensuring that participants meet the required standards.
  • Assist with the development of instructional standards and assessment activities to ensure consistency across all training programs.
  • Evaluate training and assessment tools to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training curriculum and content, using information from effective training evaluation processes.
  • Provide training and professional development to centre-based instructors to promote high standards of correctional centre based QCS instructors.
