About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the Can Too Foundation Limited in its mission to transform lives through improving mental and physical health and wellbeing in the community and supporting the research, prevention, care, and control of cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Determine the strategic direction of the organisation, balancing impact agenda and commercial viability, and providing leadership and inspiration for staff, partners, stakeholders, and the community.
  • Financial Management: Develop robust financial and commercial plans, and budgets to support the strategic plan, ensuring financial strength and growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage multiple stakeholders, including staff, coaches, business partners, ambassadors, and supporters, and work with the Board to identify, cultivate, and manage relationships relevant to the mission.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the health and safety of all participants, volunteers, coaches, and staff, while maximising the participants' experience.
  • Cultural Values: Promote the cultural values of Can Too by participating in training programs and providing visible leadership.
About Us

Can Too Foundation Limited is an independent Australian registered charity established in 2014. We have a strong community and vibrant culture, and since 2005, we have raised around $33m, funded over 155 cancer research projects, and trained over 22,000 participants.

Requirements
  • Experience: At least an equivalent-sized organisation/business with a proven track record in income generation, growing services/corporate partnerships, and/or diversifying income streams.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Philanthropy/Fundraising desirable, but not essential.
  • Skills: Excellent multiple stakeholder management skills, experience in working with a Board, and ability to develop robust financial and commercial plans.
