Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization and drive our mission forward. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in income generation, growing services and corporate partnerships, and diversifying income streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a high-quality strategic plan in collaboration with the Board
  • Lead and motivate staff, partners, stakeholders, and the community to achieve our mission
  • Manage relationships with business partners, ambassadors, and other supporters
  • Develop robust financial and commercial plans, and budgets to support the strategic plan
  • Ensure the health and safety of all participants, volunteers, coaches, and staff
  • Actively promote the cultural values of Can Too by participating in our training programs
Requirements
  • Experience in an equivalent-sized organization or business with a proven track record in income generation, growing services and corporate partnerships, and diversifying income streams
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Philanthropy/Fundraising desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent multiple stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with a Board to develop and implement a strategic plan
  • Ability to develop robust financial and commercial plans, and budgets
  • Inspiring and visionary leadership style
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Clear understanding of, and ability to effectively manage risk

We have a strong community and vibrant culture, and since 2005, we have raised around $33m, funded over 155 cancer research projects, and trained over 22,000 participants.
