In this role, you will be responsible for delivering risk-based assurance activities that evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our controls, compliance, and operational processes. This will ensure that our operations meet regulatory obligations and business expectations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct assurance reviews from scoping through to reporting, identifying opportunities to improve internal controls and compliance.
  • Provide practical, risk-informed recommendations that address root causes and drive process improvement.
  • Track and validate management actions, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and within agreed timeframes.
  • Use our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system to manage assurance activities, reporting, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and assist in compiling Board Committee papers on assurance activities and audit outcomes.
  • Support coordination and quality oversight of internal and external assurance providers.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties, including regulators, tenants, and auditors.
About You:
  • You hold a CA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent professional qualification, with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in audit or assurance.
  • You have demonstrated experience in a complex regulatory or operational environment.
  • You possess strong risk analysis capabilities and control assessment techniques.
  • You can write clear, concise, and insightful audit reports.
  • You have high attention to detail and sound business acumen.
  • You may have experience using Governance, Risk, and Compliance software.
  • You can communicate effectively and confidently in various settings, including with senior executives and external providers.
