Strategic Risk Advisor

The role of a Senior Risk Management Specialist is to lead the execution of assurance and advisory services around risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.
This involves managing teams to deliver business process IT assurance audit engagements including the execution of evaluating and designing controls in support of external and internal audits as well as program assurance engagements.
Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and review of reports for clients and other stakeholders nurturing client relationships to achieve service expectations deliverables and outcomes.
Additionally, the role involves partnering with internal and external teams addressing compliance financial and operational risk assessing current state internal controls and frameworks in order to mitigate current and emerging risks.
Key skills and attributes for success include a passion for assurance and advisory one or more years of experience in providing assurance or advisory over risk and controls business process and/or IT general controls program and project risk management services regulatory compliance etc.
Other key requirements include a practical and solution-oriented approach high-level communication and engagement skills exceptional report writing abilities strong business acumen commercially focused attitude inspiring leadership capability and excellent project management skills including ability to lead fieldwork.
