As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are crucial to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining clean and safe kitchen areas, including utensils, silverware, plate ware, and glassware.
  • Reporting any issues affecting kitchen operations or food safety to your supervisor immediately.
  • Assisting with event setup and pack down, including preparing plate warmers, setting buffets, collecting plates/cutlery and service equipment from event locations, and returning them to the kitchen for cleaning and storage.
  • Completing daily tasks such as emptying and cleaning rubbish bins, sanitizing hand basins, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen trolleys, refilling hand towel dispensers and hand soap when required, spraying benches with sanitizer, cleaning kitchen floors, checking all equipment is switched off after use, and locking fridges and doors on exit.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Ability to work in hot conditions for extended periods.
