Deputy Emergency Management Commissioner (Readiness, Response and State Operations)
About the Role:We are seeking a Deputy Emergency Management Commissioner to lead our readiness and response efforts at state and regional levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic support to the Emergency Management Commissioner in leading our readiness and response programs
- Liaise with senior stakeholders across agencies and private sector organizations on critical issues
- Develop and implement operational readiness, response, and state operation strategies
- Lead the direction and delivery of our work program for readiness and response operations
- Accomplished executive, people leader, and problem solver with senior leadership experience in emergency management
- Sound judgement, responsiveness, and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strategy and project capability, and the ability to perform under pressure
