Crisis Response Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Crisis Manager to oversee high-priority incidents and lead the recovery efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding essential technology services and driving resilience.
This is a high-visibility role where you will work across teams and make a real impact on system reliability. You will be responsible for leading recovery activities during disasters and critical incidents, ensuring timely restoration of critical services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead crisis management activities to ensure rapid restoration of critical services.
- Drive post-crisis problem management to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Plan, coordinate, and run disaster recovery exercises to validate service continuity.
- Support the development and implementation of disaster recovery policies and practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide continuity and incident management expertise.
- Broad experience in Incident, Problem, and Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), with at least 5 years in senior crisis management roles.
- Proven ability to coordinate technical and business resources to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- ITIL V3/4 Foundations certification or equivalent practical ITSCM experience; strong familiarity with ITSM tools.
- Demonstrated ability to command and control under pressure, prioritise conflicting demands, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships.
