Clinical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a Clinical Manager to lead our Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of community mental health settings and provide clinical leadership and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership to the Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team
  • Develop and maintain specialist programs within the service
  • Mentor junior clinicians or recent recruits to enhance their skills
  • Foster acute community mental health care and address priority issues related to vulnerable and high-risk consumers

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT, or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in senior positions within the mental health field in both acute and community mental health settings
  • Significant problem-solving skills and understanding of facility and departmental policy
  • Vast clinical experience and knowledge in community mental health settings
  • Ability to develop and maintain clinical programs
  • Expertise in clinical consultancy and dissemination of key messages across stakeholders
  • Proven clinical leadership within mental health with ability to mentor and develop the workforce
  • Ability to work with autonomy and independent practice
  • Advanced decision-making skills
