About the Team:

The operational and regulatory environment is complex. Our Business Continuity and Response team are trusted advisors ensuring Coles consistently delivers essential goods to Australians.

About the Role:

This role supports management in preparing for and responding to crisis events that disrupt operations. You will support key stakeholders and response leaders in developing and implementing Business Continuity plans effectively.

You'll also:

  • Support the Business Continuity function in coordinating crisis and other disruptive events.
  • Manage activations and incidents with operational and commercial teams.
  • Analyse data to determine emerging risk exposures and lead projects to improve resilience.
  • Provide support to executives, response leaders and co-ordinators in responding to critical events.
  • Develop relationships with key external stakeholders involved in managing Business Continuity events.

About Your Skills and Qualifications:

We're looking for an action-oriented professional interested in improving resilience and supporting through challenging incidents. You will have:

  • A degree in management, law, finance, economics, IT or relevant discipline.
  • Experience working with a listed company or in resilience and emergency response.
  • Capabilities in analysing, interpreting, presenting and reporting complex information.
  • Experience working cross-functionally within an organisation.
  • Working knowledge of business resilience, governance and risk policies and practices.
