Job Title: Ground Investigation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ground Investigation Specialist to conduct thorough site investigations and support engineering and construction projects.

About the Role
  • Carry out detailed risk assessments and document site conditions using photographic evidence.
  • Operate a 4WD-mounted drilling rig to collect soil profiles, adhering to industry standards (AS).
  • Perform Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests and assess soil strength, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collect and dispatch soil samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Evaluate site wind ratings (AS4055) and prepare detailed site plans.
  • Compile and submit electronic reports detailing site investigation findings on a daily basis.
  • Support lab testing activities such as shrink/swell and salinity testing.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment to meet high standards.
  • Assist with tasks such as Screw Pier installations as required.
