Insurance Investigation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Investigation Specialist to join our team. As an Investigations Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing advice and assistance to internal stakeholders regarding suspected unusual or suspicious claims, activity or trends.
You will review claims referred to the Investigations team to determine whether further investigation is warranted. Your duties will include diligently conducting investigations using desktop computer resources, open source information, and conducting telephone interviews.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice and assistance to internal stakeholders on suspected unusual or suspicious claims, activity or trends.
- Review claims referred to the Investigations team to determine if further investigation is needed.
- Conduct investigations using desktop computer resources, open source information, and telephone interviews.
- Refer and manage external investigation referrals ensuring appropriate outcomes and minimising investigation costs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation to provide regular reporting and updates.
- A minimum of 2 years' investigations experience.
- Experience interviewing persons suspected of suspicious activity and/or victims of crime.
- Knowledge and application of insurance investigation practices and evidence collection.
- Excellent attention to detail, planning, and administration skills.
