Supply Chain Operations Director

Foodbank Australia, a leading charity in the food relief sector, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead their National Supply Chain. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of millions of Australians struggling with food insecurity.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that sources food and groceries, develops relationships with suppliers, and optimizes logistics and transportation processes. This will involve strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration to ensure Foodbank Australia's continued success in providing meals for those in need.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and supplier relations. Proven experience in commercial food supply chains and a track record of building strong partnerships are essential. As a directive and supportive leader, you will be able to motivate and empower your team to achieve exceptional results.
Salary and Benefits
This is a highly competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will have access to a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a dynamic work environment.
