Operational Improvement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team in Somerton, VIC.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting Operations to optimise plant performance, embed best practice, and deliver engineering solutions. This is a hands-on role working across operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, improve reliability, and contribute to capital projects.
About the OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to drive process optimisation, continuous improvement, and engineering support across the plant.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for promoting and reinforcing a strong safety culture through active engagement in programs and initiatives.
- Support Operations in problem-solving, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing corrective actions.
- Design and implement best practice processes and systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Facilitate and perform maintenance analysis (RCA, FMEA) to drive reliability improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and plant optimisation projects.
- Assist in the preparation of business cases and justifications for capital initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related) and strong knowledge of engineering principles with the ability to apply them in a practical, operational setting.
A proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to continuous learning are essential for this role.

What You Will Bring- Degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related).
