","Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse external contractor bids to ensure client value for money by accurately evaluating project costs, resources, and timelines.
  • Create detailed estimates and cost plans for key client developments, incorporating local rates and industry benchmarks.
  • Evaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gaps, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of current local rates for use in all estimates, facilitating accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Optimize project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates to increase client value.
  • Provide estimating expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction stages of projects, fostering collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Build trust and credibility with partners across the business, from third parties to client specialists to contractors and consultants.
  • Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
","Requirements:
  • Have increasing levels of scope and responsibility as an Electrical or MEP Estimator in a construction environment, leveraging skills in analytical problem-solving and technical expertise.
  • Enjoy applying advanced analytical skills to investigate and interpret complex technical data, driving informed decision-making.
  • Be an excellent communicator verbally and in writing, able to articulate project details and estimates effectively to stakeholders.
  • Excel in a collaborative and friendly team environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
