Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Leading Hand to lead our site operations and drive results.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to execute daily and weekly priorities, directly leading team members onsite and ensuring they are trained and competent to perform duties across all areas of operation.

The successful candidate will prioritize safety while maintaining focus on quality and cost controls, operating within budget guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute routine operations in accordance with policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
  • Maintain high levels of Customer Service.
  • Implement operational plans at site.
  • Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to casual staff at site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience with plant operations, implements, and attachments, tractors, tele handlers, bulk material conveying, and small plant and hand tools.
  • Training and certifications provided for additional required tickets and licenses.
  • Previous experience in the grain industry or bulk material handling sector is highly valued.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety standards, with an ability to promote a proactive safety culture and address unsafe work practices.
  • A practical approach to work tasks and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license is a mandatory requirement for this position.
