Strategic Commercial Leader

The position is available for a skilled Commercial Manager to lead the commercial department, focusing on guiding commercial decision making, data analysis, and strategic plans execution for our operations. In addition to overseeing commercial functions such as accounting and contracts, provision of commercial analysis and advice to stakeholders at site and with the corporate team will be key to success in this role.

• Collaborate with site leaders to develop and implement cost minimization strategies by analyzing data to identify and execute cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, legislative, and recognized accounting standards through accurate accounting services.
• Contribute financial, procurement, and commercial expertise to develop annual business plans and budgets aligned with operational goals.
• Promote efficiency by generating accurate business reports, tracking KPIs, and monitoring site performance, including cost of production and efficiency.
• Manage the operation's annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Oversight of governance of capital expenditures.
• Oversight of procurement, warehousing, and contract administration, optimizing supplier relationships and inventory management.
• Review and prepare capital expenditure proposals and submit financial reports, and compliance documents.
