Job Summary

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Technician to join our team. As a Data Centre Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues within a Data Centre environment. You will work closely with senior technicians to install, configure, and test data centre equipment, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing failed components and updating firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute basic troubleshooting and triage incoming incidents in support of DC operations.
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all production server hardware and software.
  • Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong adherence to processes and contribute to process improvements.
  • Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
  • Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call.
  • Background in Linux.
  • Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).
