Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Technician to join our team. As a Data Centre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all production server hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and action incoming and open tickets, prioritising work based on ticket severity.
- Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all production server hardware and software.
- Provide escalated second-level technical support for complex issues, which may include leading problem management cases and providing management updates.
- Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
- Maintain strong adherence to processes and act as a process champion.
- Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
- Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call.
- Background in Linux.
- Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).
