About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Technician to join our team. As a Data Centre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all production server hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and action incoming and open tickets, prioritising work based on ticket severity.
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all production server hardware and software.
  • Provide escalated second-level technical support for complex issues, which may include leading problem management cases and providing management updates.
  • Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong adherence to processes and act as a process champion.
  • Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
  • Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call.
  • Background in Linux.
  • Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).
