Job Title: Specialist Pathology

This is a permanent, full-time role for a Staff Specialist Anatomical Pathologist.

Deliver high-quality Anatomical Pathology services by providing timely and efficient diagnostic and consultation services tailored to meet the clinical needs of referrers across Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of services including:

  • Anatomical pathology diagnostic services
  • Consultation services for clinicians
  • Teaching and training of registrars
Requirements:
  • Contemporary knowledge, skills, and ability in Anatomical Pathology
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to conduct relevant training, teaching, research, investigation, analysis, and management
  • Knowledge of ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements demonstrating continued accreditation in your clinical specialty for all laboratories across a diverse network
