Role Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work as a leading Anatomical Pathologist in Queensland, delivering high-quality diagnostic and consultation services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of Anatomical Pathology by developing strategic frameworks grounded in global best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support registrars to foster their growth and ensure the highest standards of professional development.
  • Participate in the frozen section service, perform MDTs, and be able to participate in the after-hours on call roster.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated contemporary knowledge, skills, and ability in Anatomical Pathology.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills necessary for all aspects of the position.
  • Skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to conduct relevant training, teaching, research, investigation, analysis, and management.

Mandatory Qualifications Include:

  • Medical qualification and tertiary qualification in Anatomical Pathology (FRCPA or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Pathologist.
