Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage trademarks, patents, and copyrights to protect the company's assets.
  • Advise on global intellectual property transfers and regulatory requirements.
  • Support business operations with intellectual property litigation and settlement work.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with intellectual property elements.
  • Collaborate with international advisers on cross-border intellectual property strategy.
  • Provide input on general commercial matters as part of the wider team.
Requirements:
  • Admitted as a solicitor in Australia or equivalent overseas jurisdiction.
  • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in intellectual property, preferably from a top-tier or specialist firm.
  • Exposure to both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters.
  • A proactive, commercially-minded approach with excellent communication skills.
