Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as experience managing intellectual property portfolios.

This is an opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional service to our clients.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Australia and internationally
  • Preparing high-quality written and verbal intellectual property advice in a timely manner
  • Managing intellectual property portfolios for local and international clients
  • Developing and executing intellectual property strategies tailored to client needs
  • Preparing and delivering intellectual property-related articles and presentations internally and externally
Requirements:
  • You must be a registered Australian or New Zealand patent attorney with a degree qualification in electrical or electronics engineering, computer systems engineering, mechatronics engineering, information and communications technology (ICT), physics, quantum computing, software engineering, or a related technical field
  • Have 1-3 years post-registration experience as a Patent Attorney
  • Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the above technical fields
  • Experience managing intellectual property portfolios and developing intellectual property strategies for Australian and international applicants
