Patent Attorney Vacancy

We are seeking a registered patent attorney to join our team in Melbourne.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and prosecute patent applications in Australia and internationally
  • Prepare high-quality written and verbal intellectual property advice in a timely manner
  • Manage intellectual property portfolios for local and international clients
  • Develop and execute intellectual property strategies tailored to client needs
  • Prepare and deliver intellectual property-related articles and presentations internally and externally

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experienced professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional service to our clients.

Requirements

  • You are a registered Australian or New Zealand patent attorney with a degree qualification in electrical or electronics engineering, computer systems engineering, mechatronics engineering, information and communications technology (ICT), physics, quantum computing, software engineering, or a related technical field
  • 1-3 years post-registration experience as a Patent Attorney
  • Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the above technical fields
  • Experience managing intellectual property portfolios and developing intellectual property strategies for Australian and international applicants
