Senior Project Manager Role

  • The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing ICT project requirements, configuration and benefits, and contributing to the definition of multiple tranches of work.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve the business processes of the project office.
  • Maintain accurate project records in accordance with ASD record-keeping policies and audit activities.
  • Evaluate all work completed to ensure it meets quality standards and quality control measures.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders in requirements-related matters.
  • Implement a Requirements Change process.
  • Implement a Benefits Realisation process.
  • Transfer knowledge relating to activities work undertaken under this contract to Commonwealth Officers.

Technical Skills:

Experience in major ICT project formal design reviews.

  • Develops plans and drives scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for large, complex initiatives.
  • Leads activities required for the realisation of benefits from each part of the change programme.
  • Provides portfolio, programme and project support.
  • Investigates business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity.

Requirements:

  • Experience in major ICT project formal design reviews.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
