Job Title: Support and Development Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities to strengthen the capacity of labour sending unit (LSU) welfare teams in implementing wellbeing-focused initiatives for workers, their families, and communities.
  • Support LSU staff in case management processes, community of care pathways, and engagement with specialist referral organisations.
  • Enhance staff capacity through training, resource development, and collaborative planning, ensuring effective integration of welfare support into broader program goals.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and case management tools.
  • Provide guidance and resources to LSU teams in adopting and applying SOPs and referral processes.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate welfare considerations into program activities.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant work experience in social work, human services, social/behavioral sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in case management; background in migrant settlement or family support services is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of case management frameworks and referral pathways; experience working with Pacific and Timorese communities; understanding of GEDSI concepts and issues.
  • Strong professional judgement with risk assessment and intervention planning skills.
  • Effective relationship management skills and ability to work across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, ability to balance multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
