About the Role:

As an Exercise Physiologist:

  • You will assess client health and create personalized exercise plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.
  • You will work at our state-of-the-art wellness centre, joining a supportive Allied Health team that prioritizes collaboration and mutual respect.
  • You will promote our wellness gym programs and support our client-centric care framework, which is designed to deliver holistic and person-centred care.

As a Personal Trainer:

  • You will deliver and supervise group and individualized exercise programs that focus on functional movement and overall well-being.
  • You will provide hands-on guidance, motivation, and support to help clients achieve their fitness goals and improve their quality of life.
  • You will facilitate stretch and flow classes to enhance flexibility and reduce stress.
  • You will monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and help manage health risks associated with physical activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Exercise Physiology or a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology; or Certificate IV in Personal Training (minimum).
  • Experience working with clients aged 65+ or in aged care settings is highly desirable.
  • Registration with AUSactive OR ESSA is essential.
  • Current Police check, driver's license, First Aid & CPR certification are mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with elderly clients are crucial.
