Job Description

This role is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the Data, Digital and Automation portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure that project delivery aligns with the division's long-term goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing a comprehensive strategy for project governance that aligns with the division's strategic objectives.
  • Leading the Project Management Office (PMO) to drive best practices in project management and delivery across the portfolio.
  • Managing governance systems, including project tracking and reporting tools, to provide transparency and control over the project portfolio.
  • Providing advice on resource allocation and placement of resources, as well as identifying resourcing needs and knowledge/skill gaps.
  • Authoring executive-level governance briefing packs to communicate delivery progress and strategic opportunities for change.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to create a roadmap for program opportunities that meet stakeholder needs and contribute to the achievement of the division's strategic and business objectives.
  • Designing and implementing change communication strategies to drive portfolio adoption and delivered change.
  • Driving and implementing change management for the Institutional Data, Digital and Automation program.

Requirements

  • Extensive project management experience within the lending space of institutional or corporate banking divisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, high-performing project teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven track record of building consensus, managing expectations, and influencing outcomes.
  • Proficiency in managing complex, cross-functional projects and delivering them on time and within budget.
  • Experience in systematising governance processes and leveraging technology to enhance project delivery, as well as managing change and driving adoption of new governance practices in a multinational setting.
