Electrical Design Opportunity

We are collaborating with a leading organisation to source an Electrical Designer for their decarbonisation projects team, focusing on site electrification and infrastructure development.

About the Role
  • Work on cutting-edge decarbonisation infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment that fosters innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop single line diagrams, schematics, termination drawings, general arrangements, and layout drawings using 2D/3D design tools.
  • Perform 3D modelling of substations, switchrooms, renewable assets, as well as cable routing and layout design.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with Australian engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proven experience in Electrical Design, preferably within HV Substation and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in delivering projects using 2D/3D design tools such as Open Buildings Designer, Aecosim, or Micro Station.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple requirements and priorities.
  • Strong understanding of Australian drafting standards and industry practices.
